CROSS SECTIONAL VIEWS is a collection of sculptures and sculptural objects that show my fascination with the human body, the complexity of form and function.
I have been working in the medical field for over 10 years and as an ultrasound tech, on a daily basis, I look at things that are hidden from the human eye.

This body of work is about finding beauty in those familiar organic shapes and celebrating form in its unique points in time.
It is about remembering and honoring bonds that form during the hard times weather it’s a difficult diagnosis or prolonged treatment. All of these sculptures tell those stories; stories of respect, love, compassion, patience and support from significant others and from the care team.
